We believe Psalm 23 depicts the epitome of God's love for us all, portraying God metaphorically as a good shepherd taking care of his flock.

Psalm 23:4 - "Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me"

The rod and staff were used by the shepherd as weapons to fight, lead and defend his sheep.  God does this for us everyday.
